芝加哥聯儲主席Charles Evans周三表示，他傾向於降低美聯儲首次上調短期利率的門檻，將目前失業率6.5%的門檻降低至6%。他還表示，美聯儲還需繼續寬鬆來推動目前不夠充分的經濟增長。

目前，美聯儲的政策是只要失業率仍保持在6.5%之上，且通脹水平仍較為平緩，都將繼續保持接近零的超低利率政策。

Evans表示，“雖然降低這一門檻並不是非常必要，但是應該讓市場更清楚的知道我們的門檻究竟在哪裏，甚至可以將失業率門檻從6.5%下調至6%。如果公眾持續誤解聯儲政策閾值，那麼聯儲應該加強利率前瞻。”

Evans向來支援大規模寬鬆政策，今年也是FOMC會議的投票成員之一。(A)
