蘋果證實 新迷你平板供貨吃緊

蘋果週一召開法說會，執行長庫克（Tim Cook）在被問到搭載Retina顯示器的新iPad mini今年假期購物季能否滿足需求時，他並未表達十足的信心。
根據科技網站「蘋果內幕」（Appleinsider）報導，蘋果（Apple）執行長庫克在法說會表示：「目前不清楚我們能否滿足購物季的需求。我們知道我們的供貨量，但你無法知道需求，直到你開始大採購。」
庫克是回應瑞士銀行（UBSN）分析師盧諾維奇（Steve Milunovich）的提問作出上述的答覆。
早在蘋果於上週發表二代iPad mini以前，市場就不斷盛傳生產問題限制供應的情況將持續至2013年底。
搭載Retina螢幕的iPad mini將在新iPad Air之後上市，就被進一步解讀為蘋果這款全新7.9吋平板今年購物季可能無法滿足需求。
不過，庫克向分析師掛保證，本季的iPad整體銷售將「強強滾」，並預告蘋果將迎接一個「iPad聖誕節」（iPad Christmas）。（譯者：中央社趙蔚蘭）1021029
